What is a Buttocks Augmentation?
Buttocks augmentation is a collection of techniques that are used to enhance the shape and size of the butt. If you feel that your butt is too small, too large, or not the shape you desire, you can improve its appearance with a buttocks augmentation. At Younger Image Plastic Surgery Center, we specialize in many surgical techniques to help patients achieve their cosmetic goals through buttocks augmentation.
How Much Does Buttocks Augmentation Cost in Washington, DC?
The cost of your buttocks augmentation will vary depending on the techniques used and the extent of treatment necessary to deliver your desired results. During your consultation, we will evaluate your cosmetic goals to develop a personalized treatment plan. At this time, we will be able to provide the full cost of your treatment. To schedule any treatment, we ask for a $1,000 deposit that is nonrefundable. Two weeks before surgery, the patient will have a pre-op appointment where his or her full balance is due to be paid in full.
We offer flexible financing options, including Alphaeon® and CareCredit® to ensure that each patient has access to the treatment that they need. Alphaeon® and CareCredit® pay us in full and the patient pays the financing company a monthly fee. We also accept cash, checks, and major credit cards for your convenience.
What is the Buttocks Augmentation Procedure Like?
Your buttocks augmentation procedure will depend on your treatment goals and the technique used. Our buttocks augmentation techniques include:
- Buttock contouring – Buttock contouring is a comprehensive technique that removes excess skin, tightens muscles, and rearranges fat to create the desired shape. This treatment often includes liposuction and other surgical techniques.
- Buttocks fat injection – A buttocks fat injection takes fat from other areas of the body, and then injects it into the butt to enhance its size and shape. This is a minimally invasive procedure, resulting in minimal scarring. To learn more, visit our page on buttocks fat transfer.
- Buttock lift – A buttock lift is ideal for patients with cellulite or excess sagging skin in the butt. Typically, an incision is made in the lower back that allows us to lift and reshape the buttocks tissue. In some cases, liposuction will also be used.
- Buttock liposuction – For patients who would like to reduce the size of the butt, liposuction may be effective. The goal of buttock liposuction is to remove unwanted fat from areas of the butt, enhancing its shape while slimming it down.
What is Recovery like Following a Buttocks Augmentation?
Recovery from your buttocks augmentation will vary depending on the techniques used during your procedure. Patients typically experience mild swelling and discomfort over the first two weeks, during which time it may be necessary to take time off of work and other activities. Exercise and other strenuous activities will have to be avoided for at least a month after treatment.
Are the Results from a Buttocks Augmentation Permanent?
A buttocks augmentation can produce long-lasting results that create a more youthful, shapely buttocks. However, future weight gain can detract from your results. We encourage patients to maintain healthy diet, exercise, and lifestyle habits to make their results last as long as possible.
